this track tried to commit suicide. the mpc crashed. zip disks suck! but i recorded the parts onto a minidisc recorder (remember those?) and then built the track again. problem was that it didn't sound as fat as the original samples. so i spent ages trying to reinforce them sonically, but on really cheap speakers. the flow is live though. and given the tracks combustible nature i named it engine noise. broooom. dunno if that makes sense. this is toby's favorite track!!!
