Our captain, now with the correct jump coordinates and com contacts has finally found his way back to the solar system! But it is not as he left it almost 2000 years ago! A conversation with a familiar construct proves fruitful. Perhaps there is hope yet!

I returned from the desert triumphant.

but even upon receiving the jump codes for earth, the bitter sweet realisation of what I was about to do struck.

I was travelling across space and time to place that I had never been before. to meet a people I had never known.

The warp embraced me and my ship and as I defolded I saw the rfamiliar stellar organization of the solar system.

I plugged in the next set of codes to the com unit.

Security cleared me and paired me with yet another AI.

I stared at my own face in the screen. A younger digital me. Or so I thought.

Hello? the voice sounded out.

I could see now that this was more than just myself. I saw the faces of all of my decendents and ancestors rolled into one persona. Shifting through every possible configuration and combination of avalable DNA.

I took a deep breath and introduced myself.
